Gather and Grow Birth Community is more than a four week course. It’s parent-centred support that will be by your side from pregnancy to postpartum.

You will:

  • Build a network around you for life after birth

  • Be signposted to local postnatal and baby support

  • Join our parent WhatsApp group for ongoing connection

  • Enjoy social events designed specifically for new parents

Meet your Teacher

I’m Jess, mum to two boys and birth obsessed nerd!

I am fascinated by pregnancy and labour and will happily chat to anyone who is interested about all the amazing things I have learned since my own pregnancy journeys. I love connecting with other parents over the shared life experiences of raising tiny humans and feel this bond is a truly unique one.

Since having my second son in 2025, I have trained with The Perinatal Academy and will soon qualify as a FEDANT-accredited Antenatal Educator, bringing antenatal courses to Eastleigh, Southampton and the surrounding areas. I am also cultivating a local community for parents-to-be and new parents where you can socialise, swap stories, and ultimately, feel supported as you navigate this next phase of your lives.

4 x group pregnancy classes

Covering physiology of birth, hormones, birth environment, caesarean, hypnobirthing, birth rights, newborn care, infant feeding, fourth trimester

Local venue in/around Eastleigh and Southampton

    • 4 × 2.5hr evening sessions

    • Small class size - maximum 6 couples

    > The physiology of birth, hormones, the placenta, stages of labour

    > The role of the birth partner

    > The birth environment

    > Hypnobirthing techniques

    > Medicalisation of birth: Interventions, induction, types of monitoring

    > Caesarean birth

    > Birth rights, consent, and how to advocate for you and your baby

    > Newborn care and development including the golden hour, common challenges, safe sleep guidance

    > Infant feeding: breastfeeding, formula feeding, combi feeding

    > The fourth trimester, matrescence, maternal and partner mental health
